Converting into Not-For-Profit

In Touch Ent. Inc. CEO is considering in converting the company into not-for-profit organization. Reasons are; to focus on community programs geared toward actions against violence, offering assistance through entertainment Music, Dance, & Acting in building self esteem/leadership qualities in youth as well as family, offer assistance to students entering into college as well as families needing funding for legal representation for court purposes.

What is your advice on this topic of concern? Is it a good route?
